Some Summer of 2006 Garden Photos

2006 turned out to be a better than average rain year when we hit July. Lots of rain meant
lots of healthy growing plants.

Harvest From the Forest Garden and Annual Garden 2006 These pictures are of some of the food we harvested from our backyard garden. We have been picking from a bumper crop of zucchini since July. The potatoes and onions were harvested in late September. Both of these were grown within the forest garden. We also had a nice crop of cooking herbs this year that we are in the process of drying including, oregano, basil, rosemary, chives, & lemon balm.
