2026 Permaculture In Action Tours

Come see several local Colorado Springs landscapes that have been practicing permaculture design. This unique opportunity allows for you to see different types of landscapes at various stages of implementation. Tours will be on July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, August 8th, and August 15th.

Below are examples of a few sites you could visit. Seeing is believing!

“See how 5 years of applying permaculture has transformed a half‑acre urban yard in East COS into a vibrant, budding food forest. With 100+ edible and biodiverse plants, this tour offers a close‑up look at what is possible at home.”

“My wild garden is a labor of love that has become a healing sanctuary for many. My grandchildren in particular love the flowers, learning about nature, and crafting with all the beautiful materials nature provides.”

“From a barren yard with rocky soil to Permaculture abundance, this westside garden features a home orchard, berry bushes, perennials, annuals, herbs, and more. No doubt gardening in Colorado is a challenge, but permaculture design and diversity give this garden resilience through the seasons.”

Children are welcome, dogs are not.
