Kip Coval

My name is Kip Coval, and I’m married with four children and one grandchild. I attended my first PDC in 2011 and a second in 2016. I completed CSU Extension’s Master Gardener Course and their Building Farmers Course, and more recently, I finished the Holistic Land Management Course from the Savory Institute. Over the past ten years, I’ve volunteered with several local food-producing non-profits. For the past eight years, I’ve been developing my 1/4-acre suburban permaculture homestead, which now boasts an abundance of perennial fruit and vegetable plants, alongside a variety of annual vegetables. We also raise a small backyard flock of chickens and keep honeybees. I’m honored to serve on the executive board of Pikes Peak Permaculture and am excited to contribute to educating our community as we work toward building a more regenerative city.

She loves the earth and values this life, putting considerable importance on spreading love and joy. It is her deepest desire to live a magical life connected to the natural world and to help others do the same.
